I just spent 30 minutes on the phone with tech support about the same issue. To be honest I don't know what he did exactly but I would just call up. Let them know you can authenticate on 1x. Good luck!

I tried calling and the tech rep cleared the phone and reprogramed it. The phone activated the vision download but, still gave me the same problem. The rep told me to take it back to the Sprint store and have them hook it up and replace if they can't fix it.

Go to your dialpad, enter ##debug#, bottom left of screen, tap "debug info", then selectt "HDR", look at bottom line......make sure AN/AA authenitcation says 1=Authentication.............if it says "failed", you might need to upgrade your Vision services

It does say that it has failed. Are you saying that the type of vision service that I have is wrong or that they need to download it to my phone again.

I took the phone to a Sprint store last night and after the "tech" talked to the Sprint phone support she came out and said, "The phone support had me change some things and now it stays of EVDO when you download." I wish the tech support would have helped me when I called, they could have saved me a two hour wait at the Sprint store.
The phone is working now on EVDO mode and I love it. Chris |
