Introducing MacFlo & MacFlo Big Button!

Great Program! Many thanks for your hard work and it really shows off! I have one question. Everything works great except for the #8 button on the second page. I believe that it is for Live Search. It works from the program menu. I have updated the newest version so I believe that it is not pointing to the right file. Can this be changed? Thanks again.

i love it. it's the coolest thing since the Touch came out. Only have a few issues:

Tab 1, instant messenger - us Alltel folks don't seem to have this. I've never tried Windows Live Messenger so i'm really in the dark on this software. All I want is Yahoo Messenger and there's no native app for it

Tab 2: icon 8 (live search?) nm, i see posts 150 ect

And isn't the annimation backwards? If you were turning a page and went from right to left, you wouldn't move one page to the left, you'd move to the right. That's how the cube in general works. This is a grat concept and I can get use to it but it does seem backwards.

Incidentally, If you want a suggestion, I know it would be a lot of work, but I would like MacFlo better if the buttons/slabs were a little bigger. You're really only using the bottom half of the screen, and although the background picture is cool, I think it would be more functional, and the icons would look better, fat fingers would be happier... etc. BUT, I'm not complaining! You do awesome work!

Also, I would be VERY interested in your cache of icons... not just the ones you used, but any and all that you have that represent standard programs... I actually prefer standard program logos that can be eventually added to a cool background (like your cube icon backgrounds) I'd be glad to do some artist editing and post my work... Beautiful hi res icons make a difference.

I, too, am looking forward to your transition changes.

PS. I flashed Old Man Jenkins WM6.1.107.3 ROM and WOW! is it fast! (32MB PagePool) It's the sixth ROM I've tried and it is definitely the best so far.

That's very strange. Make sure you are installing it to your device, and not your storage card. Also, you might try clearing your browser's cache and re-downloading the zips. The zips may have downloaded incorrectly the first time, and so every subsequent time it just uses the same temp file.

On the second slab, google maps does not load despite having it installing from the extra cabs you've provided. Same with TCMPMP on the 4th slab and paintce + opera on the 5th

So, that mght be causing some conflicts with the MacFlo. So with so many programs not working for me, then it would be really cool if there was a config file that can be modiifed such that I could make it work better for me.

Yeah, this was created based off of the stock Sprint Touch ROM, so a custom job might change things up. As I've stated before, thisguyinoc's Cube config works for the first two slabs, so until I figure out how to make my own (I need to PM him for some tips) just use his, or read the posts that zeus pointed to above.

Make sure you installed to the device. The registry makes specific calls to folders in My Documents. You also might browse to \My Documents\Mac\Icons and make sure that they are there. If not, try reinstalling.

ok i haven't found an answer for this problem, tab 2, icon 8 appears huge and does not run any application. the icon is total fubar. anyone else have this problem?

I made it so that you swipe your finger the way you want the dot to move.

Using the CubeConfig Tool, go to the iCube Tab, choose iCube Side #2, then click the bottom middle button and make sure your icon path says \My Documents\Mac\Icons\search.brn (search_HL.brn for Press Path). Of not, change it. If it does, try reinstalling. If it still doesn't work, clear your browser's cache, delete the original zip from your hard drive and re-download the zip.

I gotta say music, this "cube" simply just amazes me.

I love the iCube and am very happy to have got to work with you on it. The work Polen did on the VistaCube is great. And there's a number of "unique" kind of mod's out there.

But this thing really just revolutionizes how you can view the cube as a launch and the type of things you can do with it. I wish i would've realized this at the time of the contest cause I realized what you did. You created the Cube...Evolved .
