You can only use BRNs with any Cube Skin.


For those of you asking about developments on MacFlo, I am currently hard at work making MusicFlo as good as I can make it.

When finished it will be able to support skins, and a MacFlo skin will be the first one available!

Thank you all for your encouragement and patience as I go through this transition from skinner to programmer!

I had a question. oes MacFlo work with the newer 3.xxx roms? I'm a newbie and I've noticed that you updated the icube to run on the newer sprint leaked roms and was wondering if these would work or do I need to wait for the upgraded ones? Also, whats the diffence between the regular MacFlo and the supernova? Thanks in advance and keep up the awesome work.

I tried to run it, by disabling cube at the registry... and it didn't work...
So i enabled again, but BOTH cubes runs one over the other... Oo

What to do?

Hey Musicman,

Great piece of software. Unfortunately, I upgraded to the "Official" .4 ROM yesterday and MacFloBBSupernova no longer loads. After you swipe, the screen dims but the animation doesn't fire off. I unloaded BB, reset, and swiped again, and the HTC cube displays fine.

I even tried reloading the ROM and only installed BB - No luck - Same response.

I don't know enough about PPC software to do any debugging, so I thought I would let you know.

By the way, My old ROM version was 1.something (I didn't write it down) and BB worked great.

Yeah, MacFlo is dead on any of the newer ROMs. There are so many versions of TouchFlo out there that it would be nearly impossible to keep up.

I've switched my focus to my new program: MusicFlo I'll be coming out with a MacFlo skin for it in the next week or so. You might want to check it out. Link in the sig.

I'd rather make skins for a program that I know won't change 50 times in one year :-)

Arrrgghh! I so wish this worked with the new ROMS! I upgraded my HTC Touch ROM to the new .4 and this new cube won't fly! I don't regret the ROM upgrade...now my GPS works great. But I was hoping this cube would give me a leg up on the iPhone freaks at work! But I am not knocking this piece at all...thanks a million Musicman! You do great things!

hi i dont understand this. i have the 'poorly duck vista cube' installed. ive tried uninstalling it b4 i installed the macflo. but the macflo doesnt seem to be working. i have no clue.

i then installed the poorly duck vista cube again, and also installed macflo too. the cube worked but it was all weird. the contacts macflo cube side works but the other sides were of the vista cube, but it was all blank.

i notice that the vista cube contained the 'ftouchflo.' im guessing this makes the cube works. i read something about uninstalling previous 'cube skins' but im not sure if thats wat im suppose to do...i dont even know how to come about it either. please help!

i didnt found anythng what gives me an answere...

i installed the big button vers.
and when i start it with moving my thumb up on display the bigbutton starts... but when i "turn" the cubes pages, the old cube starts to show up...

i start bb everything fine on call persons... but on the other sides i got the old cube...

edot: i got a htc touch

i just found out, that i need to update aplauncher.exe biotouch.exe and custaplauncher.exe...

but i cant delete em... so i cant update em!?

ok... im new to this so i will need step by step instructions as to how to download and basically get this to my phone. I wonder how you guys come up with this stuff. Please help. Any advice would be great.

i downloaded the file and i cannot get it to work and my touchflo stuff does not open. When i slide my finger across the screen, it goes black and freezes up. Great. ANy suggestions???

I have a question, right now I'm running a M2D run that doesn't have the cube in it...is it possible to get the cube back running this, or would it have to be included in the ROM itself?

I just need to know how to get my original cube, touchflo back. I downloaded one of these files and it screwed my phone all up. How can i just get back to what was on there?

help i downloaded the supernova & reg. macflo got click happy installed both & now i can't get any thing to work. Let me specify i can't get mac flo to work macflo editor.... phone & all other default features work. help

I don't think you're checking this thread anymore Musicman but I'm still going to give this a shot. I've tried downloading every version of your MacFlo and uninstalled each one before installing the next. They all had the same problem. The phones boots up fine after the soft reset but when I scroll up to activate the MacFlo, it freezes with a hazy grey over what's already there. Nothing comes up or opens. Then when I scroll down, it goes back to normal as if it was turned off. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same problem except when i scroll right i can see macflow but with no animations at all. i have windows mobile 6.1 on a sprint htc touch with to0's rom installed. the regular cube works fine when i uninstall any of the versions of macflow. attached is my biotouch file from the registry with macflow installed as a .reg file or you can see the code here:

I do check it, but not that often. The problem with the most recent version of MacFlo is that it is not compatible with the latest versions of biotouch.exe. The only way to get this working is to download the Files4Mogul and replace the Biotouch.exe, APLauncher.exe, CustAPLauncher.exe in your phone's "Windows" directory.

Files4Mogul can be found on this list. Replace those files and MacFlo should work fine.

P.S. - Do this at your own risk. The files listed are older than the files in the latest ROMs. I would recommend backing up these files before replacing them, as the only way to get them back to the newest versions is a hard reset.

awesome i got the files and i backed up my old ones, but how do you actually replace them? the device wont let me overwrite them

Not sure as I'm not doing it, but Resco File Explorer or Total Commander usually will let you overwrite system files no problem, poke around for the programs.

Damb MusicMan, the only problem that I see with this cube is that you've got so many beautiful cubes that I'm having trouble deciding which one to use on my Touch. Nice job and very impressive!

Sorry for bringing this post up again.

I was under the impression that MacFlo no longer worked now that the new ROMs have come out. I was mistaken. I just tried the New ROM version of MacFlo and it works perfectly.

Go to the first post of this thread and follow the link to download the working version of MacFlo.

You have to have the HTC Cube already installed on your device for this skin to work.

i have a suggestion, could one be done with a skull of some type? i.e. when you "swish" to the next tab the skull opens it's mouth or something like that it sounds corny but hey i could hope someone of much higher skill than i could make it possible thanx!

WOW, this one has really stumped me out.

I've tried to follow instructions and read most of this thread. But I can't make MacFlo Big Button work on my Touch. It's running 6.1, the radio is up to date.

I've gone ahead and overwritten the Mogul Files on to my Touch with Rosco Explorer...rebooted about atleast 10 times...nothing happens.

Can anyone please take the time and possibly provide their input ?

I'm usually pretty good at these things, but I know I'm missing something.
If I left out any necessary info, please let me know.

Check the first post in this thread. I figured out that no file replacement is necessary, just make sure you download the correct version that is linked to in the first post.

& I'm back...

so yeah, I still can't get things going...I even installed it on my Mogul...nothing upon robooting.

I think I have officially given up, I like the Touch and it's interface straight out the box. It's not horrible.

As sad as this sounds, I like my Mogul better, but I won't go back because I like the weight and size of the Touch. Software wise, I haven't experienced anything out of the ordinary.

One last thing, I can't fully remove the MacFlo Big buttons from the my phone...is there an 3rd party application I could use to remove programs ?

**WONDERIN' why the link for the latest version of this program has 'Alltel' in the titles of all 3 cabs ? **

I was trying so hard to give myself 'Thanks' on my post for this tread...but it's just not possible.

I figured out, by searching randomly; that you need to swipe your finger from top to bottom to launch MacFlo.

After all those installations and finally the ability to not REMOVE MacFlo when I got frustrated....well it all lead me to this.

Funny thing is that my phone was in my jacket pocket, and when I got home and looked at my phone MacFlo had activated itself. It was the first time I had seen it run on my phone. But I didn't know how it launched itself.

I was up till 130am until I finally figured it out.

I FELT LIKE THE HAPPIEST DOLT IN THE WORLD AT ALMOST 2AM last nite.

I want say thanks to God, cause if it wasn't for GOD, MusicMan would have never created this great program...And I would also like to thank myself...for having the patience and perseverance to work through it all.

k um i have tired 2 diff styles here the Bigbutton and bbs supernova and the seem not to work. so after it does the soft reset when in installs i slide up and the blackturns on and thats all that happend. SO it be big thx if u can help me out here.

When you say you don't have tf do you mean you don't have the cube? If so then you will have to restore the original cube files for biotouch to get the cube to work again. Personally, I have removed all of the biotouch/cube entries in the registry to free up ram. But, if you want the original cube to work then the original files are still around.

i slide my finger up the screen, and it seems to freeze up but it is ok once i turn it off and back on with the sleep button. what would i do to restore it, where are the original cubes? i am not that worried about ram issue.
