Vibrate once not 3 times?

So I just got my touch yesterday and loving it. But is there anyway I can have my text vibrate one time?

If you don't mind installing phonealarm it's got a slew of customization options including vibration/ring/flash customizations for each event.

Some reg tweaks from the Titan forum that can control the vibrate mode. Not sure if it would work with the Vogue.
