With the 2000mah battery installed, the Seidio cover will not slide into place. Even just sitting it on the phone (unlocked position) there is about a gap.
.... Leave it to the wife to have an idea. She suggested I use a hair-dryer to warm up the cover so it'll flex more. Turns out that worked like a charm. I warmed it up and was screwing around thinking about where to squeeze and how/where to put my finger when I try to slide it into place and vola, all of a sudden it was on all the way.
I'm still concerned though. I only know of one person having a problem with the cover (and Seidio replaced the cover for them). Yet I had to heat the cover up.
Seidio sent me an email saying they are aware of the "cover is hard to install and that's to make sure it stays in place when DROPPED"!!!!! The only offer was that I could RMA it for a refund. I didn't want a refund so I replied that I'd like an exchange. No response after 2 days. I had just sent another email before starting to post here. I'll see what they say, if anything.
I'm not sure I want to keep this cover even though I managed to get it on. I don't think using a heat gun to soften the plastic qualifies as "it works now".
Anyone else have a problem with the cover not fitting?

Storm,
The door is snug, but obviously shouldn't require any heat to put it on. Please email your contact and original order information to
forum@seidio.com and I'll make sure you receive a new door.
Thanks,
