button problems

I've been having issues with the keys on the Touch (guess they are called softkeys for some reason). In many cases, I have to repeatedly hit them to make the device do what i want. The green key of course triggers the phone, more often than not. But the red key rarely works the first time. To end a call, I always expected to hit that key but I find it required to tap the screen's End button. This can be a pain if the screen shuts off while im talking and I have to wake it up.

Is there a program to determine if the problem is the keys are not working, like a test program? Or do other people have this issue?

I thought that I was the only one having this same issue. I just stopped using the soft-keys all together.

Not Hardware Related

Hopefully this will be fixed with the update if it ever gets released. It is not a hardware issue the buttons are working. The end does not work correctly to end call and if you use the long press end key you will also notice that it does work correctly all of the time.
