Use Custom picture as background

I want to use this background with the default black HTC theme - http://localhostr.com/files/05d516/whitebg.png

When I use it in the today screen I get the following picture - http://localhostr.com/files/ea219c/grass.jpg

Any reason the picture is "white"?

Do this...

Open the picture normally (navigate with a file explorer and click on it) on the device. This will, most likely, open it with the Pictures & Videos application. Then select the option on the menu to use as a background.

After doing this, there should be a setting to adjust the transparency, adjust it. This should fix the issue.

I'm betting you used the picture by going to Start - Settings - Today.

And BTW, this has been discussed a couple of times... don't forget to search please

Sorry to create another topic, I searched google and didn't find anything, I guess I should have tried the search here as well.
