Sirius on Touch...

After a few hours of research and testing last night, i have completely failed getting my sirius account to stream on my touch. Here are the programs that i tried...

SiriuCE 1.*
SiriuCE 2.*
SiriusWM5

None of them work for me. The furthest that i got, was with SiriuCE 2.*. I was able to load everything from song names and channels, but it would always fail when trying to open the stream in WMP10 or TCPMP. Frustrating! I tried everything, there was noway i could make it stream. I dont think im missing the codecs, and i had everything installed correctly. (SiriuCE 2.* requires 2 other installed programs).

Has anybody got Sirius to stream to their Touch?
Please help.

I use Sirius WM5 from geekstoolbox.com I've had no difficulties getting it working. Installed it to my device, added my login info, and voila. I've also used WMP and TCPMP to stream.

You've input your subscriber id and password in the settings area, yes? You've made sure that you have an Internet connection from your phone? Hope you have unlimited data...you're going to need it if you're going to stream.

I just tried it on my phone now and it works fine. Perhaps you're overlooking something?

Check out geekstoolbox, if it's something odd, you'll probably find a solution there. Good luck!

Re: Sirius on Touch...

When I 1st signed up with Sprint and ordered these THREE(3) Touch phones and the Ultimate Pack for them.....I was under the impression that Navigation (when the GPS finally gets enabled) and Sirius Radio was included.

Now I find there IS no Sirius radio app for the Touch that Sprint provides.....but....with the Ultimate Pack....do I have a ID and PW I can use with those 3rd party apps the previous posters mentioned?

The MOTOROKR T505 is on my hit list. It would be cool if I can access Sirius channels.

Re: Sirius on Touch...

get SelectRadio

this is the best program i ever used for music streaming.

you can

add your sirus account
add xm radio
shoutcast
etc, etc..

plus you can create a fav tab with all your favorite channels. there are HUNDREDS of channels on select radio that can be downloaded and you will get lost, but all the tabs make it easy and quick access to what you want to hear. i like how it tells you how fast your connected to their network. i usually connect at 900kbps which is pretty damn good...

so check it out http://www.selectradio.com/
its not free though, but there is a trial. i think it's worth it and if u search around google u can get it for free as with anything else

the initial download (after installed) will take a little time to setup as it has to download tons of channels, but it works perfectly (i use xm radio) and never issues streaming to my touch.

Great find I had heard about Rescoe Radio but this one looks better.
