XT9 Question

Hello, quick question that no one seems to be able to figure out.
Is there any way (when using the keypad with 2 letters), to show an "a" when you press the "AS" button? I always seem to get an S instead.

I have tried the trick of entering an A a few times so that the Touch remembers my personal style.. but then when I go to a new txt message I get the bloody S again.

Any help would be splendid!

go into "add new word" and add a
