Just got our new rebate forms in and it has the XV6900 on it so Im guessing we are getting the Touch. Who knows when but it appears to be coming. Just thought I would let yall know....probably late on posting but oh well.

On the bottom line of the picture.

I'd have to see the white in person. Who knows it could look nice, too bad I've been a Sprint user for over 6 years and don't really plan on switching.

Those guys have the white housings. They also have the green and black too.

White and green are like $25. Now they are the GSM model, but I don't think the overall size is that much different. The batteries are compatible between the two anyway.

Verizon's touch has gps enabled out of the box, read that somewhere, does that mean something for us?

Yeah it means we're getting the shaft unless one of the geniuses here knows how to get that part of the rom to the rest of us.

Stripping the necessary components to activate GPS from the verizon version should be easy. I would imagine some one will do it within days of release.

Just talked to the vzw business support rep a few days ago it seems the xv6900 has failed the first round of testing which happens with almost every new phone and will be somewhat delayed.

I thought that already happened a long time ago. Plus support reps have no knowledge of phone releases. They get told when they need to know for training. Less than a week prior. It might just be a cover to get you off the phone.
