Trying to understand the X-Button

Hey everyone,

Hopefully i can explain this well.... On the main screen, on the top right side is the X-Button, correct? It brings down the drop down menu of what's running correct? Let's say no program is running when pushed. BUT when the X-Button is pushed and you push again on the memory that's in use and click on the "Running Programs" tab on the bottom, I sometimes have programs still running. Does this make sense so far? It'll say the name of the program running under the "Running Programs" tab BUT not under the X-Button when first pushed on the main screen?

My settings are set that to "End programs by tapping "X"". So if i push X to close out a program, it should be closed correct? But not always according to the "Running Programs" Tab.

Can someone please explain this? Any help needed please.

I've seen this too.....that's why I switched to quickmenu.

is there any chance you selected that program as one of the "exclusives"? this would allow it to NOT be closed by pressing the X button. then it would also not be shown in the first screen when you tap the X button.

does this make since?

for example... i have set active sync to this exclusive list. since it just wants to start agian all by it self. now when i hit the x button i dont see it all the time altho when i hit the running programs i will see it.

do this...

hit the x button
hit the tool icon
and at the bottom of the screen select the "exclusive" tab

is your program listed here?

all you have to do is install quickmenu, see attached file, copy the 3 files to /windows folder, then execute quickmenu.exe. after instlal, go into options to tweak it.
