Sprint Touch has slowed down

Earlier today I noticed a considerable slowdown on my Touch. The only two things that I have installed onto my phone are SPB weather and SPB Pocket Plus. This slowdown that I noticed even had the spinning windows logo in the center of my today screen as soon as I brought my phone out of standby and it would appear and then disappear every few seconds. I have since disabled both programs but I do still have them both installed on my phone. I'm curious if anyone else has ever heard of either of these programs causing this kind of problem or if its something else thats causing it?? If it is something else I really need help in tracking down what that something else is and getting rid/fixing it.

The only thing thats constantly running in the background on my phone is PIE since I periodically have to login to my call que to update comments and such. I would appreciate any help.

I had the same problem for the last week I ran on my stock rom. I would have to reset the device to get it to act normal.

I have since flashed with the BRLE Vogue Kitchen and I am glad I did. The device is MUCH faster and very stable.

My device is running kind of slow also, but I'm waiting for a new ROM to come out before I begin working with it...

Fowen: Do you have Sprint? I noticed a few people suggesting poor battery life when using the BRLE Vogue Kitchen...

SPB == Slow Phone Badly, at least for me.

They sure do pretty/nice things, but they will kill performance.

I noticed my phone slow (especially email apps) when I installed the MMS hack.

I do have Sprint. I haven't seen a change in my battery life since the ROM upgrade. I am a heavy user and from the get go I only got 8 - 12 hours of life out of my phone without a charge.

2000MAH battery here I come!
