Increase of Drop calls in EVDO

My phone is normally in 1x since my area isnt updated with EVDO and never had a problem with drop calls. While in Miami which has EVDO my phone dropped call after call. Is this happening to anyone else. I never had this problem with a 6700

EVDO has nothing to do with calls.

I can't tell if it is the phone or sprint, but i had 2 days of about 15 dropped calls, then it stopped, and yesterday it happened to me again... I dont know what is going on.

correct. 1x is always used for voice and txt
