updating to WM6.1

is there anyway to update the HTC Touc to a later version of WM when it is released? for example when WM 6.1 or WM7 comes out can you update the phone or does it have to come pre-installed on the phone?

You can update it easily as long as it's made available from one source or another. Usually it's in the form of an executable. You connect the phone to a PC, run the executable and let it do it's thing uninterrupted and bingo, new system. There are a couple custom systems available now but there's no WM6.1

Yes, there is a way. However, it all depends whether the cell provider will release one, that would be the easiest way.

If not, you'd have to wait a long time for someone to crack it and implement it on a kitchen/ROM/etc. like it was done for WM6 on the Apache.
