Little help on creating a theme

I'm trying to teach myself how to create themes and was wondering what the correct size for the wallpapers are. At first i thought 240x320 but it seams that it gets cut off. I'm using ThemeGenCE and when I select my image for the today screen it always wants to cut off the picture and reduce the quality. What am i doing wrong?

Not totally sure if this is right, but try sizing your image to 240x293.

I haven't used that program but if 240x320 doesn't work try 480x640. That is what I changed my last theme to because it kept cutting off as well and it worked out fine for me. As for the quality... if the pic is too small (iow.. half the size like I suspect) than it is going to pixelate and stretch to fit. Just give it a try and lemme know how it works for you. You can adjust from there if it doesn't work out but at least you will have another size to compare to..

Re: Little help on creating a theme

This program would be great if it was not for the sizing of the image.
I set the image to be the size for the devise, but after saving it to the devise the background image is too big still (yet within ThemGenCE is shows it all sized properly).
Is there a way to have the image set to display correct when the theme is actually used?
