Car Stereo Adapter

Has anyone found a good car adapter for the Vogue? I have a cassette/cd deck with no bluetooth ;(

Any info is appreciated, as I do not know the basics of playing music from my Vogue over a car stereo...

Thanks

I have an aux in jack on my car stereo and purchased a sony/ericson HBR-100 buetooth receiver. It was $80 at Fry Electronics www.outpost.com I found it in the store but it should be online. It has nice battery life, sounds good, lookis nice, and can be used with any 3.5 mm stereo jack. It can be used in my car, home, or with any ordinary pair of headset/earbuds to make things wireless to me phone. I hated that stiff adaptor that came in the box.

your best bet is to get an in-line fm antenna adapter installed on your car stereo system (any best buy or circuit city can install this) and then get an adapter like the one mentioned above (mini usb to headphone) then you will have a nice setup with great sound for your touch.

You'll need the 3.5mm adapter that esanto mentioned. Then there are two common ways to get the signal into your car stereo if it doesn't have an AUX input: 1) FM transmitter, or 2) cassette input. FM transmitter is a bit easier to deal with but I've found the quality of the signal is often better with the cassette input. You can buy either on ebay, and in some consumer electronics stores (try Radio Shack, Bestbuy, etc). On ebay, search for "car audio cassette adapter", or "fm transmitter adapter".

Oh, one advantage of the cassette method is that it requires no external power. The FM transmitters require power, either battery or often plugging into the car lighter jack (which then makes it impossible to use it for something else, like your GPS or cell phone charger)...

The 2.5 to 3.5 adapters can also be found at stores such as Fry's and Radio Shack (cheaper at Frys). Though I can not comment on the quality.

Can not comment on this cable other than it's description, found it listed on another Touch thread. Also can not comment on selling store.
