Using "Phone as a Modem" option
I will try to keep this as short as possible. My sister got the Touch last week and was excited to learn the phone can be used as a modem (like i do on my 700wx). I only got to mess w/her phone for about 20 mins but i noticed an icon to do the above stated.
On my 700wx, I did the DUN thing and it works great. I was going to go the same route, but using the icon seems easier.
My question is: Will setting it up through the "Phone as modem" icon alert sprint and get her charged for doing that? Should i just go the round about way like i did on my treo? Simpler is better but i dont want to run up her bill...anybody tried it yet? Did you get charged? Forgive my ignorance about the phone...like i said its my sisters.
Any input greatly appreciated....
