Today Screen And Htc Home Q

Here is a good question. Has anyone been successful in separating the three items including the clock, the mail/missed call, and the home/weather/comm/ringer sections from HTC HOME on the today screen?

I find that it would be much better to get rid of the clock and only use the clock that I have inserted on my title bar. I enjoy the missed call feature, weather, etc. However, that damn clock takes up so much space. I would much rather have tasks and the date taking up that space.

Please let me know if you have had any luck with this!!! Thanks.

I would love to know the solution to removing the clock while keeping everything else (weather,launcher, etc) as well.

i also thought about this but it is one big plug in, there are tweaks to undock it from its default position but i think you are better off going third party instead of waiting for someone to reverse engineer the htc plug in

Thanks Lord B, any ideas on a third party app that would accomplish this without messing up the customized way I have my phone set up?

check out SPB Mobile Shell and SPB Phone Suite. Should do the trick (and give some added functionality).

I am in the opposite boat. I like the big clock but I would rather use the two programs above instead of the default HTC plugin. I haven't been able to find a clock that could match the HTC plug in.
