Activesync not working

It will connect but disconnects after 5 to 10 minutes at the max every time. It has issues transferring files back and forth, regularly tells me it cant find the file. I uninstalled and reinstalled on my pc, It didnt help. It worked fine for over a year with my 6700, same version.. I am thinking its the phone. Any suggestions? Everything else with the phone works fine, and it continues to charge after it disconnects but bc of where the memory card is stored, I would like to transfer 5 or 6 cds worth of mp3s a day via activesync. Wmp does not help either, still disconnects.
