How to Sync Contacts to Outlook?

How can I transfer my contacts from Touch to Outlook 2003 on my laptop, I have synced it and checked the box for contacts but nothing changes in Outlook...I have tried searching here, and even using the help options. I have also tried deleteing the sync settings and resyncing it, yet it does not work either. Is there some kind of setting on outlook that I need to do? Thanks for any help

No setting in outlook.

When you set up a new partnership in AS or vista sync center you will be asked how you want the first sync to work. Replace items on device, replace items on PC, combine all items.

This is not very hard so hopefully you just were moving to quickly and missed it. If not- than write back.

Hmm...I think it just deleted all of my contacts on my phone..
