Question Volume Menu

I searched the forum but didn't see anything on this....does anyone know if it is possible to edit the default volume "type" that is selected when you use the volume slider on the side to raise/lower volume. Like when the menu opens after you triggered the volume button the volume "type/column" that is automatically adjusted is the PPC volume for alerts etc..., and to change the actually ring volume of the phone you have to touch the other column to select it. Just wondering if it is possible to automatically go to the ring volume when that menu comes up, I'm thinking/hoping its just a simple reg edit, but idk how to do it. Thanks!

Does anyone know of any program to have ring settings such as a meeting setting or a loud setting or a sleep setting for your rings.

Can we go back to the original post and not veer off onto profile apps? That's not what the OP asked about. He was asking about usability of the built in volume control. I really would like to know if this is possible too. I am much more likely to want to control the phone volume and not the device volume.

There's a related irritation that I'm curious if everyone else sees too. On the volume control, if the device volume (which is on the left) is selected, you would expect you should press the right d-pad key to go over to the phone volume to the right. Same for the reverse -- if phone volume is selected on the right, pressing left should go over to the device volume. On my phone, it's backwards. You press left to go right, and right to go left. Is this just me, or was someone at MS drunk when this UI element was written?
