Xda & Ppc Geeks

There are alot of Custom ROMS for the Touch over @ XDA and one in particular i've been wanted to flash to my Touch, however it hasn't been working. The unlocker would freeze and the ROMS won't seem to flash (or i'm doing something wrong?) Anyways, someone over there told me I have a Vogue? (I'm assuming that this meaning I have CMDA, but I don't understand the relation? Does anyone have some wisdom to lay on me? Thanks.

Vogue = CDMA Touch, Elf = GSM touch from what I've been reading.

this is correct vogue= Sprint elf= gsm

Gah.. so why is there so many custom ROMS @ XDA lol good thing I didn't brick my device trying to flash with those

From what it seems... XDA is mostly for GSM phones while PPCGeeks is mostly for CDMA phones. Just check out the huge the Tilt section here

Yep pretty much correct. Their elf forum is huge but their portion for vogue is tiny. (I'm a member) PPCGeeks definitely has more hacks\software for the vogue. Also I would apply any of those elf hacks\software to my vogue unless its tested and works.

My point about the Tilt section is the lack of activity on this forum since it's a GSM-based phone. If you look at XDA at the Kaiser (sp?) forum (Kaiser = ATT Tilt)... it's booming.
