Need Help

Ok, I got my Touch about 5 days ago and I've since learned of these boards for addons and such that I could get for my phone. I'm new to the whole arena of adding things to my phone and I also don't really know what to add. I do know that I would like to have the Touch weather show my city instead of it showing the nearest city nearly 100 miles away. To that end I downloaded a registry editor program to try and edit the registry. The program I downloaded was PHM Reg Edit and I attempted to install it. Instead all it did was to install onto my laptop and not onto my Touch. Each time I try to install it to my laptop I get almost all of the way through the installer and then I get this box that shows three programs installed on my phone and it says that if I uncheck the box they will uninstall and if I leave the boxes checked they will stay installed. How can I go about straightening this out or is there a different program that I should be using to accomplish my goals?

I have little experience with PHM, however I have been liking CeRegEditor for most of my edits. It installs on your PC and works over ActiveSync.

If you are looking for a powerful, portable editor (IE on device) check out TotalCommander as it is a great file explorer and reg editor.

the closest city it shows for south Carolina is 100 miles away????

and either way, doing that reg edit doesnt allow you many more citys... there are only a FEW not listed...

And just PUT THIS FILE ON YOUR PHONE, ON THE SD CARD, AND USE FILE EXPLORER TO OPEN IT...
