PIE only chokes on Youtube's main page, you don't have to return to Opera & repeat the step to find another video. The page you pasted in PIE still has a search bar. Quote:

Only Youtube's main page freezes regardless of what you have as far as some Builds of WM6/PIE is concerned. If you do what I recommended to Anitcoyboyism for the time being you should be fine. |

Mine is perfectly fine with the stock pie and pie plus installed... with flash video bundle, never had one issue.... when i used to install flash 7 tho, it would make youtube.com freeze.... is there some workaround? like using sqweezer or something?
as for "anticoyboyism" i take it thats a build of pie? I'll search around... |

No, for some reason, i read it as if you said "do as i recommend and get THIS VERSION OF PIE"... i dunno why, lol...
will installing flash 7 let me do stuff like pandora? or seeqpod.com? or is it lame and pretty much supports no real flash... Last edited by divxrippimp; 01-14-2008 at 05:08 AM. |

[QUOTE=Genjinaro;159965]Install Flash 7 1st, soft reset & then install Opera Mobile
[U]http://www.adobe.com/products/flashp...ds/player.html Ok, so I have Opera 8.65 loaded first, then I put on the Flash 7. It doesn't let me un-install opera, and re-loading opera again doesn't enable flash. Do you know the program, or ini, or registry changes that opera makes if it see's the flash 7 player installed? I would like to add these manually. *** Update *** Upgraded from build 2211 to build 2779 (latest) and it now works correctly. The links below will now work. I am using the following two links to test flash. The first one tests flash 3, and the 2nd one tests flash 7. You should see a red square go from the top left to bottom right. http://renaun.com/resources/code/OTest3.html http://renaun.com/resources/code/OTest7.html Last edited by black88mx6; 01-14-2008 at 10:59 PM. |

No clue of where the key is in the ini or reg, if its not letting you uninstall its going to cause issues regardless, the reg itself is probably messed up. You might have to hard-reset, or try downloading an older version of Opera Mobile & remove it that way. |
