ok, great. I think it's working as well as it was ever intended to work now. I just uninstalled everything and followed the order you recommended, with a reset between the Flash 7 and FVB and Opera. Small animations work in both PIE and Opera and the FVB link pops up in PIE on flash video links.

Still some little frustrations that I guess everyone is having, like FVB not working for certain websites like yahoo video. And having large animated pages not render properly or freeze the application sometimes.

I like the workaround you suggested of navigating youtube in Opera and copying the url into PIE for the video you want. That works well. Although if you can find the fix you mentioned, post it here as this is a tedious workaround.

Any chance of getting the FVB to work in Opera? Can it be as simple as some registry changes or editing ini files?

LOL you only have to do that once you know, just mark the page in PIE's favorites. If you want to find another video just look for the search tab in PIE.

PIE only chokes on Youtube's main page, you don't have to return to Opera & repeat the step to find another video. The page you pasted in PIE still has a search bar.

As I can't stand PIE, I wish it was. Maybe it is but honestly I wouldn't know where to start.

Only Youtube's main page freezes regardless of what you have as far as some Builds of WM6/PIE is concerned. If you do what I recommended to Anitcoyboyism for the time being you should be fine.

Mine is perfectly fine with the stock pie and pie plus installed... with flash video bundle, never had one issue.... when i used to install flash 7 tho, it would make youtube.com freeze.... is there some workaround? like using sqweezer or something?

as for "anticoyboyism" i take it thats a build of pie? I'll search around...

version 1.4.3 of flashvideobundle supports it, so in a way yes. Honestly I never used the skweezer link myself but it and mobileleap are supported.

No, for some reason, i read it as if you said "do as i recommend and get THIS VERSION OF PIE"... i dunno why, lol...

will installing flash 7 let me do stuff like pandora? or seeqpod.com?
or is it lame and pretty much supports no real flash...

Pretty much every thing I said/listed earlier, nothing too large or intensive.

Just have to remember that not only is it mobile but also version 7, a lot of desktop class flash is on 9 now and supports 9.

[QUOTE=Genjinaro;159965]Install Flash 7 1st, soft reset & then install Opera Mobile
[U]http://www.adobe.com/products/flashp...ds/player.html

Ok, so I have Opera 8.65 loaded first, then I put on the Flash 7. It doesn't let me un-install opera, and re-loading opera again doesn't enable flash. Do you know the program, or ini, or registry changes that opera makes if it see's the flash 7 player installed? I would like to add these manually.

*** Update *** Upgraded from build 2211 to build 2779 (latest) and it now works correctly. The links below will now work.

I am using the following two links to test flash. The first one tests flash 3, and the 2nd one tests flash 7. You should see a red square go from the top left to bottom right.

I assume you meant to say Opera Mobile 8.65?

No clue of where the key is in the ini or reg, if its not letting you uninstall its going to cause issues regardless, the reg itself is probably messed up.

You might have to hard-reset, or try downloading an older version of Opera Mobile & remove it that way.
