To Touch, or not to Touch? Help me out, please!

Hey guys, wondering if you can help me out with something.

I've currently got a 700WX with Sprint. It's a great phone, and I've been happy with it, but ever since the software update that was released a few months back, it's been a pain in the butt. Whenever I get an incoming call, I have to press talk between 10 and 20 times for it to answer, and even that's not enough most times. Also, push mail has been cutting incoming calls off after two or three rings, sending them to voice mail. So, basically, getting incoming calls is a hit or miss things.

I like the design of the Touch, and have been following the posts here to see what you guys think of it. So basically, I'm wondering if anyone's made the switch from one to the other, and if it's been a good decision. I was hoping to wait until a phone with WiFi and GPS came out, but that's probably not happening soon with Sprint. So, can you chime in if it's a good switch?

I'd be looking for the following:

What's the battery life like, on average?
I'd like to run Phone Alarm (like the profile switching ability)
Would like to do Push Mail without problems.
Can set up Outlook to check my hotmail and gmail.
Weather Panel (I know it's been done)

Sprint's offering me a discount til the 6th of February. Should I jump?
