STUPID Windows Live Log-in!

STUPID Windows Live Log-in!
I live in an area where signals are iffy. I can live with that. But man, this automated Windows Live Log-in dialogue is driving me crazy! Okay so I suppose I can deal with it coming up but when I tap "Cancel" NOTHING happens! It won't go away. It INSISTS on being on top and makes it hard for me to get underneath to do anything else.

Earlier, I set the Phone Services>Roaming to "Sprint PCS Only" to get rid of the constant "Cannot Connect Dialed: #777" that keeps coming up because, I suppose, something is trying to connect on a frequent basis. I really don't need THAT message because I can tell there is no connection. That message is disruptive and annoying. Unfortunately, now I have to find a way to get the phone Roaming back into "Both" (Roam and PCS).

So now I FINALLY, after a ZILLION taps of "Sign In" and quickly pressing on what I need underneath, got the phone Roaming back to "Both". I went to the spot in my house where I get some signal and all was okay. But as soon as I get into an area where there is weak or no signal, the Live login screen pops up and insistent on being on top at all times AGAIN. And yes, "Cancel" doesn't do jack. What's the sense of putting in a "cancel" option if it doesn't even work??? Once again, the mircal of MicroSquash.
