Adding Phone to Today Screen

Hey guys, n00b here. I just got my Touch last week and already customizing to make it mine. Thanks to everyone here!

Well my question is:
Is there a way to add the phone icon to the Today screen? I know its there on the Sprint Home, but I don't like all the other crap thats associated with it. Right now its in my launcher but would really like to add it on the Today screen, maybe as a tab. Thanks in advance.

i'd like to know this as well...also, would you happen to have the reg hack to increase the ring volume of touch?

How about disabling Sprint Home & use the phone hardware key to open phone? What do you gain by having an icon on today?

hey jack, thanks but i saw this one. i was refering to increasing the ringer volume louder so when my phone rings i can hear it better. And no i am not deaf.

I have disabled Sprint Home, thats why I'd like an icon to point to that particular part of the phobe. I know I could push the left button, but just thought it'd be kinda cool to have a shortcut available. Thanks though.

how bout mapping it under the programs tab of the htc home plugin????

I disabled sprint's HTC home and installed Resco today screen app. Comes with resco explorer. You can use that to add a phone icon or any other app.

is resco free? isn't it the same as phm registry?
