Exclamation Outlook e-mail, calendar, and documents sync off my school server, is this possible?

I just got my touch over school break. Using active sync i can load most my files into the Touch. What I really would like, is to have all my email and calendar appointments off our school server to sync to my phone before I leave school everyday. Reason being, our teachers e-mail us everything as far as assignments and grades go. So when I can not connect to the server at home, I would like to be able to have the files on my phone to use when I am not by my laptop. So far i got the web server adress but it says the is an error they wont let me sync my settings contact server admin. It synced through alot but i have nothing updated on my calendar or e-mail. Definite NOOB question but any help would be appreciated. The IT bums at school seem to think I shouldnt try it and against policy. Which is BS to me. Thanks in advance for any directions....

Sprint offers a product called Business Connection Personal Edition (BCPE). It is a software made by 7systems. It is a mail and calendar redirector for outlook and it will allow mobile access to files in a specified folder on the host pc. It does cost a monthly fee but is often a good solution when IT does not want to get involved.

Emoze is a free solution that will do much of the same but i have had device stability issues when using it. BCPE is fairly reliable and i do not experience any device instability when using it.

both solutions require software to be installed on the pc that has the outlook account setup on it. Also, the pc must be on and BCPE/Emoze software must be running for the service to work.

Hope this points you in a usable direction.
