How to - stay in cube when closing an app

Does anyone know if there is a way of keeping the Touch Cube open after closing out of an application?

I don't want it to always return to the home screen. I'd rather close the cube myself when i'm done, but i'm not sure how, or if its possible, to make an edit like this.

Thanks

I agree with Sailrace. I have everything I need in the Cube, and would like for it to be on screen as much as possible.

Thanks!

I've said before that you could retrain yourself to swipe up instead of tapping the x button. For now that's the closest you'll get.
