Contacts / Favorite People Issue

I used the HTC Home Customizer to put the Contacts/Favorite People tab on the home screen.

I set it up with people, but now I want to change one of them. I can click on the button to delete the person, then I click on the plus sign to add someone, and that works fine.

When I do a soft reset, it goes back to the old person.

Any ideas on how to make this change permanent?

the quick dial on the HTC home is the same as the quickdial on the cube... you have to change both... mainly change it on the cube since it seems to overtake the other

duh, thanks. That did the trick, I should have tried it that way...I just don't use the cube a whole lot when I can have them on the home screen.
