How Can I Get Camera Album to Read Storage Card??

My Camera Album only reads photos on the main memory. Is there an option to have it do slide shows of photos on storage card?

Well if you put them in this folder on your storage card HTC Photalbum will find them, you may have to make it re-search for media once you move your existing photos there.

StorageCard/DCIM/100MEDIA

I seem to recall a reg edit to make it look where you want but I couldn't find it as of right now.

Here ya go... Copied from the Registry Tweaks Thread.

Get rid of DCIM folder and save pictures at \Storage Card\My Documents\My Pictures.

1. Open up the camera, and press on the 3 bars on the lower right. That should open up the options. The last option will let you pick either main memory, storage card, and bluetooth. Choose Storage Card and hit ok to save. Pictures seemed to be save under \storage card\dcim\100media.

2. To change the path of the saved pictures and video to \Storage Card\My Documents\My Pictures, edit the registry:
HKLM\software\htc\camera\General
- change EnableDCIM from 1 to 0.

Now your pictures will be stored in \Storage Card\My Documents\My Pictures

Your album will also look for pictures from there.

No problem... lol I have a notepad files with all of the registry changes and cube changes posted so far so it was pretty easy for me to find it. I only have to go to one place for it.

Been messing around with storing the pics on the storage card as described above. After doing this I deleted the My Pictures folder from the phone. The camera album promptly read ALL pictures stored in the main phones memory, ie it couldn't find the folder it was supposed to so it read them all, as well as the ones on the storage card in my new My Pictures folder. Found the settings for this..apologies if this is a repeat but I could not find it anywhere on these forums.

HKLM\system\pictures\camera\OEM\picturelocation
external
internal

change the paths on these to what you desire. If the folder you direct it to does not exist it appears to read pictures from all folders on either the phone or the storage card.

I did this and it worked for the pictures. It also appears to have made a My Videos folder, however, the HTC Album, in video mode, does not recognize this folder. It still recognized videos on the 'my videos' folder on the main memory, but not the storage card. Again, please note, the pictures worked fine, the HTC album locates pictures in both locations, just not videos. Any help? Thanks.

I have the same problem with you! HTC album can read pictures in \Storage Card\My Documents\My Pictures, but just can not read the videos in \Storage Card\My Documents\My Videos. Ask for help, too. Thanks.
