.m4v

Is there any way to play .m4v files (TV shows from itunes/apple store) on the Touch.

I have TCPMP installed. It just brings up the shows title screen but it won;t play.

Media player does not recognize the video format.

Thanks.

I just started tinkering with mpeg4, which I think might be a similar file. Check the Video Output options under Tools>Preferences. I had to switch that around to get them playing.

Thanks for replying but I don't see a Tools>Preferences in either TCPMP or Media Player.

TCPMP has an Options>Video selection and I have tried all of them.

Media Player has Menu>Options>Video but that only lets you select screen size.

Itunes videos have drm... you cannot play them on anything but itunes and an ipod...
To get other mp4's to work, you have to go to Options>Settings>File Associations>
and select the file types you want... that will get it to play flv and mp4's but, as i said before,
itunes mp4's have drm protection on them... so the computer playing them needs to be authorized...
