Locked up Touch after soft boot?

anybody know what the deal is with that? 9 out of 10 times i reset my phone, when it comes back on...the phone is just frozen. i dont know what's happening in the background, but i can't do anything. well, i can turn the screen on and off. and not everything is frozen, cause it's showing the correct time, and will update the time too....but this lock up can take anywhere from 30 seconds to 5/10 mins.
