NEW OEM Rom

I have the new OEM Rom released by UTStarComm for the Bell HTC Touch. I'll post it to the ftp shortly.

I do have a few questions...

The new rom is a complete rom including a new Radio 1.59.10. I've extracted just the OS and updated my Sprint Touch with it successfully. I'm debating if I should attempt to flash the new radio or not. Has anyone successfully extracted the OEM Radio from the Sprint Rom incase I need a backup?

Radio Version: 1.59.10
Protocol VersioN: ACAAAAM-4070
Hardware Version: 0001
PRL: 31398

The rom is dated as 11.20.07 and intended for Bell Carrier.

not sure what was added or removed. i'm playing with it right now as I'm attempting to upload to ftp.

hmm, looks like it's a new rom for Bell Touch.

Might want to edit the title of your post; i thought it was for sprint touch - although i understand that you can load a Bell ROM on a Sprint Touch device and vice er versa.

there is already a topic about this rom.. it was released a few days ago, no change logs were found though..

Hey UTCG, i see you posted a custom Vogue rom on the ftp server. Any details? I would like to try it out, but i just want to know a little more about what i'm getting into

sure. i actually posted it so a buddy could download but feel free to give it a try.

Basically, it's the Bell rom (no sprint junk) that has the Sprint Provisioning.

it contains the true HTC Cube, etc... none of the custom "sprint" crap that came on the device.

I like had to use the BELL Rom on my Touch, could not find a working Sprint rom.
After doing the JD Rom. (personally did not care for) The Bell Rom has every thing except the sprint "IM" (INSTANT MESSAGING) so I got that app off of (XDA Developers) install it on my Touch works fine, use the Cube Configuration Tool & 6side cube all GOOD!

With the Bell rom do you experience sd card corruptions?
