Is there a way to hide the start bar?

Hi all, I wouldn't be surprised if this has been asked before.. but I tried searching for around 10 minutes here and couldn't find a topic. I'd like to completely hide the top bar on my today screen and just have phonealarm and pocketplus as the only things on my screen.

I've already found the program to hide the bottom bar that came with the lg prada plugin, so hopefully theres something similar for the top. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

well. wisbar advance will only replace the top and bottom bars with skinned ones. wisbar desktop will place an environment on top of wmobiles today screen and you can insert today plugins on it. if you want a quick fix that's free google vijays today toggle ii. will remove both top and bottom bars. only catch is if you slide the keyboard out the top bar reappears. you can assign the vijay app to a hard key though to make it disappear again. hope it helps. his site is vijay555.com I think or there is a post @ xda with this app.

Thanks for the suggestions, I think I might try wisbar desktop.. I'm just wondering if it slows down the phone since its like having 2 today screens. Guess I'll try and see.
