Re: WORKING Audiopara file for TOUCH!!!

Sure, what I did was this using Resco File Explorer. 1) Go to /Windows directory and rename audiopara.csv to audiopara.csv BK or anything you want so you can find it later if you need to go back to it. 2) Download the audiopara.csv file to your PC. Sync your Touch and copy this file to your storage card. 3) Using Resco File Explorer go to the file on your storage card and right click and hit copy and then it will ask you where, simply copy to /Windows. This worked for me a zillion times without a hitch when playing with this file. I'm guessing Total Commander will work the same. I didn't have any complications but I can perhaps work you through them if something comes up. |

Re: WORKING Audiopara file for TOUCH!!!
This is strange I'm attempting to install t Audiopara in my Touch Version 2.13 but when I go to the windows directory using Total Commander I notice I have the Audiopara.csv file which I know I replace but right below it is another file named AudioPara0330.sa.CAB. Anyone recognize this file? I don't remember seeing this file on my original Touch. I've been unsuccessfull installing the Audiopara.csv file in the windows directory and I'm wondering if this unknown file has something to do with it. I also noticed both files have the same date of 09/15/07. Anyone?

Re: WORKING Audiopara file for TOUCH!!!
Does this do anything for audio out through headphones/wired headset? I'd really like to increase the volume for audio out and this sounds like it might work. Anyone verify?

Re: Latest AudioPara file
They keep changing the ftp site access. Here is my latest audiopara.csv file.
ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Users/AudioPara.zip You must use Dutty's File Explorer or Total Commander to first 'show hidden files' then click on properties of the existing audiopara.csv file (in the /windows dir) and uncheck read only. Then using Dutty's or Total, copy my file to the /windows directory. Then reboot. Let me know if you like it. DJ This file stretches the range of the normal earcuple speaker (very low on the low end and very high on the high end) and also boosts the speakerphone volume. Bluetooth has been boosted also. I'll be checking this out, later tomorrow. My Touch is set to arrive by 4:00 PM and the Mogul goes back; one of the reasons being Bluetooth Announcement is terrible, even after I tried several of the AudioPara files for the Mogul. |

Re: Latest AudioPara file
With Voice Command (1.6 on WM6 - Smartphone) there are two components to working with a bluetooth headset.
a) how the audio sounds when the voice is announcing an item b) how the audio sounds when talking with somebody I have my setup to announce calls, meetings, messages, etc. So, everytime I get an email, Voice Command fires up and sends an announcement out via my bluetooth ear-bud ... in the ear-bud I hear something like: Message From Paul of Tarsus Subject You are saved by Faith aloneOf course, this is an example, as the content of the announcement is relative to the email I have received. Similarly, when I get a call, Voice Command fires up and sends an announcement out via my bluetooth ear-bud ... and I hear: Call from Home (if the phone number matches the phone number for my contact named home)Well, with my Smartphone (T-Mobile Dash), these announcements are crystal clear and when I take the call, I can hear the caller very clearly. Unfortunately, when using the Mogul, the announcements I have described are barely audible. I tried any number of AudioPara files and the actual voice of the caller would be dramatically improved, but never the actuall call announcement. (meeting and message announcements remained barely audible as well) I'm moving away from the Mogul for other reasons, but I have read that other Mogul users who switched to the Touch also found announcement volume on the Touch to be improved, as well. Apologies for the lenght; I wanted to be thorough. Best regards, -boggsie |
