XT9 won't capitalize letters

Does anyone know who to make XT9 capitalize the letter "I" when used by itself like the mogul and every other WM phone does. I have searched and searched for this option to no avail. Thank you.

XT9.............. is sadly broken. Dont use it.

Yeah, it only seems to capitalize the first letter of the very first word automatically.

You could always teach it the capitalized "I" as well.
