Clock and Sleep Mode

First of all, this is a great site. A tech from Sprint actually referred me here.......

When the display comes back from the sleep mode, I notice that the clock displays the time it went into sleep mode, and then changes to the current time a few seconds after that. Is this normal? I don't remember this happening when I first got it. It always seemed to come back on from the sleep mode showing the current time, not the time it went into sleep.

Mine also shows previous time, then switches to the current time.

Guess I am losing my marbles then. I could have sworn it didn't do that in the beginning so I was gonna head to the Sprint store in the a.m. to check their demo model....Looks like I don't have to make the trip now.
