agreed I cant find a single third party app for texting that doesnt have some issues. While each is nice in its own way a seemless threaded SMS would be great. I do like the cheesy little bubbles though. 100% sure WM wont do that though. Hey but I am sure someone will skin it to do it. Hence my flick scroll and Iphone esc dialer.

After midterms I am going to give your icube mod a go. Looks real nice. Just cant risk bricking my phone right now. Good work though between you and musicman

No bubbles. You can see the screenshots. It looks a lot like the Extreme Text program. It's also unlikely that the Touch will be upgraded to WM6.1

Why do you say its unlikely? Its listed as one of the ones with compatiable hardware. Don't see a reason why a rom upgrade wouldn't be offered for download

You haven't been around long, have you? Do a little search on HTC's past WM phones.

Well, WM6.1 is supposed to be more like an "update" rather than a total upgrade....so it stands to reason it would be easier to deploy over existing devices...rather than a full-on rom upgrade.

Hey all, my first post here and I don't even have my Mogul (yet...), but I've been researching 3rd party apps in advance to pin down what I want to do with it as soon as I get it. I found this video:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=tqfeO7RAKOE (skip to around 5:40)
It looks like he has something along the lines of what lilvo is looking for. However, I'm not sure if that comes with one of the cube/touchflo programs the person in the video installed or even if the SMS threader is fully functional (he just shows it, never actually interacts with it). FYI, he lists the versions that he used for the cube and touchflo interfaces at the very end of the video.

yea, i think that is pocketcm's threaded messaging, it is cool, but i couldnt get it to actually open my messages, it doesnt replace your current messaging application, but just adds sort of a second one. but the whole pocketcm skin is tight, even with the contacts manager. i just want it to replace my messaging like the palm one did.

Also, birdsoft has extreme text for ppc and its working pretty nice.

or I have attached a file below.
Still too buggy because there's no PPC support and doesn't intercept incoming messages.
