well this program didnt make it one day on my phone and it crashed had to do a hard reset on it. this was the only program on the phone. my HCC was on my memory card. and that has been on there for several days now.

Works like a charm. I like it. Sometimes makes my phone go slow.

Just to clarify, this is not a program. This is a skin for the cube. This MUST be installed on the device. This will not affect performance in any way because it does not take up any more resources than the cube.

I have my 3-sided cube modified to use the HTC icons - and I have remapped all the keys to launch programs which I like.

This set of skins and the 4th side is interesting to me.

1) Does it slow down the device in anyway (e.g. are larger amounts of resources used to deliver smooth animation)?
2) Is there anyway to use this with just a 3-sided version? Believe it or not, I am a little leary of a 4th side just because of finding the right page I want by swiping 3-4 times... In other words, could I delete the 4th side from my registry and just use the 3 sides?

has anyone noticed that when you do the evdo hack you don't recieve any sms messages, or is it ust me

1)As far as I can tell from days of testing it does not slow down the device at all. The smooth animation is just an effect. It still uses the regular 5 frames of animation, just done well. A full install will take up around 9MB of your "Hard Drive", but it does not reduce performance, only storage space.

2) Yes, it could be converted to a 3 sided iCube by changing the registry entry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software>HTC>Biotouch>Biotouch> TotalCubes to 3 instead of 4.

Im not too good at this... can someone tell me how to figure out the path for MSN Messenger? And any chance there is going to be an ICON for MSN messenger soon? I got the icon to change... but it doesnt match the iCube icons... :-( Plus when I set the path I set it to: \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Messenger and some other stuff... but no luck.. I find most everything hidden, but for some reason cannot find MSN. grrrr

EDIT: Found it. \Windows\WLMMessenger.exe it worked!!!

Just need an icon now... Thanks for iCube... Its great.

I actually use the cube interface now. My only gripe (and maybe I'm doing something wrong) is when I make registry modifications to change shortcuts and icons, it always displays the original icons during animation sequences. This only happens when the cube is spinning. Is there a way I can fix this?
