Bluetooth disconnects after call??

I have my Touch paired with my JVC KD-BT1 headunit in my truck. All in all it is working great. I haev only had to pair it once when I got the phone 2 weeks ago. (Unlike my 6700 which I had to pair twice daily). But I have noticed that when I end a call the Touch will disconnect from the KD-BT1 for 1-2 minutes and then it will reconnect and work fine until I make and end another call. When it will disconnect for a few minutes and again reconnect automatically.

Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but my wife never answers the phone when I call (can't find the phone fast enough in her purse, go figure) But she will call me back immediately. Unfortunately this is usually during the 1-2 minutes my phone has decided to disconnect.

Any thoughts? Getting my wife to answer the phone as it rings is not an option. I have been trying that for 3 years. :-/
