Gmail sent mail problem

when i send a email from my gmail acct it shows up on my Touch as a new email-- as if someone else sent it to me??

any ideas?

Are you using the regular outlook style email client or the gmail app?

This is a Gmail issue, just the way it works.

Tenny,

i set it up as IMAP in the Touch. it works well, except for the "sent" email coming-back-to-me issue

ive started experience this as well, and its annoying. i didnt have the problem on my q

Yeah I think that's just how gmail works. I've heard of that happening several times. You might want to try installing a different Java midlet, which is capable of running Gmail. I am using Esmertec Jbed. The only issue is that whenever you start it, it asks if you want to allow it to run. There are ways around that but I haven't fixed it.
