Touch and 3rd party apps

I have sprint and I am looking into getting a touch, but was wondering if I can install apps i buy from handango and pocket gear. The sprint guy did not seem to sure. On a side note I'm new here but love the site.

Wow - nice of the Sprint rep to know the product he's selling. To answer your question, of course you can buy and install apps from those places as long as they are compatible with the phone's OS. And there are plenty of free apps floating around too. Enjoy and welcome!
