I asked that question yesterday, but still nothing. Tried the Palm threaded hack today that was done on xda (not cody's) and it sucked just as hard as cody's version. Incredibly unreliable.

yea, the biggest thing is that you cant see what you're typing. what makes other programs move their screen up when the keyboard comes up anyway? and i think its stupid to have to go to "new message" to get it to work. thats defeats the point of threaded texting!

it comes from a wm6 palm device and not a wm5 device, so the app should have been updated and should be optimized for wm6. but i have a feeling the on-screen keyboard covering the text area wont be fixed. someone here or on xda is gonna have to do it, i bet.

I'm not quite sure what you guys are talking about? The Palm Threaded App from WM6 and the 750 has been out for a few months now.
Since we aren't allowed to link it here, I'd search google for "WM6 Threaded SMS" and check about the 5th link down or so, on Treo Central. |

correct, the wm6 version just has a few updated files in it. it has been released since 7/28/07. a quick search for shogunmark on xda will show it. 7/28 was the date.
the only thing is he has it set up for cingular. i posted a version for sprint later that day. the only thing different was the date of of few of the files. i never seen anything different as far as performance goes. one thing i did see is that when the app was put INTO the rom it ran a lot faster. dcd made me one for the mogul. cody Last edited by codyppc; 12-06-2007 at 09:28 AM. |

The shogunmark version is just as buggy as the one that cody put together a long time ago. I just tried it yesterday and it doesn't send or receive all messages.
Which Palm device was WM6 back in July? Was it a rip from a leaked 750 beta ROM? |

It's a bug with how the threaded app interacts with the contacts and the stock messaging program. If we could make a custom ROM and replace the stock messager with the threaded one, I bet that would fix all of the problems. |
