I had the version before the latest on my Touch, and it took over an hour to create a 35 meg backup, and over an hour to restore it. I checked the website today, and there was a build from Nov 22 that I missed. I did a backup with it today, and it went in 1/2 the time. I still think there is an issue on the Touch, as it should only take about 15 minutes to back up/restore the phone.
When I get time, I am going to shoot them (SPB) an email to see what the issue might be. |

Under "Tools" uncheck the box that says "Stop processes before backup" and try to rerun SPB Backup.
I had the same problem as you did and when I unchecked "Stop processes before backup" it worked fine. Let me know if that works for you. |

so far so good .. guess we'll see in a day or see .. FINGERS CROSSED
& BTW, I haved tried Sprite Backup but did not like it one bit, it for some reason wanted to backup 90+megs while SPB does the regular (20 or so megs) which is what I am use to...SPB Backup for me is the only way to go.... |

I've been trying SPB Backup and i gave up. At least I never purchased it. Now I'm trying Sprite and I'm also having some problems. Coming from a Treo, why is it so difficult to make a simple backup program?
