IDK; it's been so long since I added a contact picture I forgot the sizes I used, but I know I got them mostly from online and other camera phones.
I tried searching the forums to no avail. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

have you tried saving a picture as a contact from your photo viewer first? It will allow you to crop the photo then you can assign it to the cube. This works well for me.
