I say a_c's S2U2 v.86 is the best working one. I've had it on my Touch for about a week and had no problems so far. The only little thing I notice tho, is when I get emails, the vibrate goes on for like 3 more seconds after the ringtone I assign for it goes off. Oh yeah, when I get calls... using the built-in iPhone-clone caller ID... it sometimes lag when I reject the call. But I never had crashes or freeze ups.
Can you or someone please post a link to this version of S2U2?

I for one say YAY for s2u2 v0.86....the only REAL issue I have w/ it is when it is locked, the cube will still come up...wonder if this issue is known by now? But everything else is PERFECT, got my Jenna Jameson wallpaper set

I noticed that too. It's very weird but I guess it's not a big deal since it's extremely unlikely that you would invoke the cube accidentally while your phone is in your pocket.

I enjoy su2u... I really like the full screen caller id that you can get. Its much better IMO than the WinMo caller id. I also use it as a backup for the cases when my screen randomly turns back on even after I pushed the top button. It seems to happen more often that not and next thing you know my cheek or pocket has started 15 different apps that I have to close.

I noted this issue in the s2u2 thread on xda forums.. I kinda like that it does that.. makes it so that I can launch the cube/check emails/it'll lock again after... it's hard to initialize the cube accidentally anyways.

Well i gave S2U2 .86 a shot, and have uninstalled it 45 min later.

First, what I liked, a very nice looking UI, great slider response, and I was a fan of how it would "lock" and then turn off the screen while Media Player was playing (without interrupting the mp3), it also didn't interfere with calls coming in, or going out, and i really liked that the Touch Cube worked while "locked"

Now, the only reason I deleted it, is that I only got the settings to open once, after that, ever time I ran S2U2settings.exe the screen would go black, and the only way to restore it was bring up Touch Cube. Strangely right before the cube screen came up I could see the whole S2U2 settings app in the background, but when I dropped the Cube down, it would just bring me to Today w/ S2 settings running in background (couldn't make active)

I was able to get into it once, in which time I set Direct Draw to ON, perhaps that was my issue, but I had the problems getting into settings prior to that too. It felt like dumb luck that I got in there at all....

Too bad, I'll try again when .87 comes out.

Waaay Yay.

I think it is both extremely useful and very well made.

Did you install it to the device or to your storage card? Obviously, it should be installed to your device.
