Slide 2 Unlock - Ya or Nay

Any advantages or disadvantages of this program or is it just a cool app? It seems that it would drain the battery more than just using the power button. since I would assume it would come on everytime a button was accidently pressed.

As of today, I have to give it a NAY! I dont know what the hell was happening. What I do know is the left side of my Touch screen was all the phone apps and the right side was S2U.

The only way for me to get full function of my phone back was a soft reset and an immediate uninstall of this app.

I'm sure many dont have problems with it, but that was one problem I could do without. Prior to this happening, it had been working OK for the week its been on my phone.

super yay its a very slick way of locking your phone plus its customizable so for people like me who like to make their phones as personal as possible its a nice addition

oh and full screen caller id and slide2answer are great additions as well

and no it doesnt drain the battery or eat up ram at all you barley notice it

I really like this app but after a while it will cause you problems. It slows down your ppc and sometimes lock it up. At times it is hard to answer calls when it is acting up.

I decided to uninstall it. Not worth the hassle. I wish I could have kept it though. It is very useful.

The newest version works great and never locks up. One big reason to use a screen lock program is so that you can't hit buttons when the phone is in your pocket and you get a call or a text. Also, S2U2 can blank the screen which cures any and all SD card access problems caused by WM6 sleeping.

Big, Huge, YAY!!!!

With the know problem of the phone turing on when switching towers, S2U2 saves my battery by turning the phone off after a few seconds rather than waiting for the 2 minute timeout I have set in Power settings. It also prevent accidental key presses.

Big nay here. Resounding, even.

S2U2 has locked my phone many times, I've noticed an excessive drain on the battery, and the whole reason I got the damn program was to prevent me from calling people when a text comes in and it still happens every now and then.

I uninstalled it. I won't be using it again any time soon

There's alot of different versions out there. The original S2U, Slide2Unlock Pro, and S2U2. I've tried Slide2Unlock Pro and it has alot of potential, but a few bugs.

I say a_c's S2U2 v.86 is the best working one. I've had it on my Touch for about a week and had no problems so far. The only little thing I notice tho, is when I get emails, the vibrate goes on for like 3 more seconds after the ringtone I assign for it goes off. Oh yeah, when I get calls... using the built-in iPhone-clone caller ID... it sometimes lag when I reject the call. But I never had crashes or freeze ups.

I also like s2u2. The big thing for me is the nice big caller id that it provides.
