Evdo / 1x:

I've noticed that since I've had the Touch, 1X stays on all the time and not EVDO, is there a setting or code to change this?

Are you sure you are in an EVDO area? A silly question I know, but it warrants asking...

Yep, had the Mogul, Treo700wx, Samsung IP830w, PPC-6700.........all stayed on EVDO, every now and then it would toggle between EV and 1X.......but the Touch seems to stay on 1X most of the time and every now and then go to EV.

I called Tech Support, guess it's the way the device's antenae hit's the towers in my area..........it goes back-and-forth between 1X and EV.

Well ive noticed this, my phone always staying in evdo, except when i send a text or am on a call, then the phone switches to 1x
